Manway Door Eyebolt for Blue Myco B-310L, B-550L & B-1180L Sterilizers

Replacement closure eyebolt for the manway door on the Blue Myco B-310L, B-550L and B-1180L commercial sterilizers. One part fits all three machines.

The eyebolts hold the manway door closed against the gasket and keep the chamber sealed under pressure. They carry the full clamping load on every cycle, so they wear — and a stretched, galled or bent bolt is one of the most common reasons a door starts weeping steam even after a fresh gasket has been fitted.

Replace the eyebolt if:

• The threads show damage or galling
• The bolt has visibly stretched or bent
• The eye or pivot shows any cracking
• The door will no longer pull down evenly across all bolts

If you have just replaced a manway gasket and the door still weeps steam, check the bolts before ordering another gasket. Uneven clamping load is usually the cause, and a new gasket will not fix it.
