Adjustable PRV for Blue Myco B-310L, B-550L & B-1180L Sterilizers

Optional stainless steel adjustable pressure relief valve that lets you hold a small, continuous steam bleed through the chamber during a cycle. Installs on the side of the vessel using 1.5" tri-clamps.

Unlike the fixed safety PRV, this valve is built for micro-adjustment. Set it to vent just a trickle and you get steam moving through the load for the whole run instead of sitting static. That constant flow is what breaks up cold spots — the pockets in a packed chamber that never quite reach sterilization temperature even though the gauge reads correctly.

Where it earns its keep:

• Long sterilization cycles
• Grain spawn runs, where a single cold pocket means a contaminated bag
• Densely packed loads with limited natural steam circulation
• Any time you want to manually bleed a little pressure mid-cycle

Can be connected to a hose to route condensate and discharge into a floor drain or bucket. Use heat-proof hose rated for the discharge temperature, and point it away from personnel and other equipment.

This valve is an addition to the machine's standard relief valves, not a substitute for them.
